Our self directed investment accounts allow the customer to invest in specific types of fixed income securities. Investment professionals will provide you with information on these products in response to your financial needs (City National Bank will not provide investment management advice and will only execute trades as you specifically direct).
In order to open an investment account with City National Bank of Florida, you must have a savings, checking or money market account with us. Your investment transactions will be funded by one of these accounts.
Fixed Income Securities
Treasury Bills, Treasury Notes, US Government Agencies; Mortgage-backed Securities, Corporate Bonds, Money Market Securities.
Securities Repurchase Agreements (SWEEP Account)
- Your money earns interest in the investment account until you need funds in your checking account - then the money is automatically transferred.
- You can pre-determine the balance you want to keep in your checking account.
